About This Beach

Shacks Beach, also called Playa Shacks or Bajuras, is a hidden gem on Isabela’s northwest coast. Famous for the Blue Hole, a deep natural pool with caves, reefs, and vibrant marine life, it’s a top destination for snorkeling and scuba diving. The beach itself is narrow and rocky, with limited shade, but the water clarity and underwater scenery make it a favorite among divers, kiteboarders, and eco‑tourists. Access is via a sandy path through a residential area—parking is limited, so pack light.
