About This Beach

Playita Rosada is a unique ocean pool beach in the La Parguera Natural Reserve, Lajas. Instead of a wide sandy shoreline, it features a large enclosed sea pool with a wooden deck, designed to keep out large fish and jellyfish while letting in fresh seawater. It’s the only direct‑coastline beach in Lajas (most others are offshore cays), making it a favorite for families, couples, and eco‑tourists. The site is Blue Flag certified, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sustainability.
